Welcome Bay Community Church (WBCC)

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate special dietary requirements or food allergies at this time. If you have any questions or concerns about allergies and our workshops, please don't hesitate to contact us here, your child's safety is important to us!

Why are there age restrictions on your workshops?
These workshops are designed with this age group in mind; some technical elements could be quite challenging for a younger child. The good news is that we are in the process of designing workshops for younger children, which will be released soon

What is included in the workshop fee?

  • A series of fun interactive 90-minute classes

  • Easy-to-follow demonstration of baking, decorating, culinary, kitchen and food safety techniques

  • Use of all required baking and decorating equipment and supplies

  • A safe and encouraging space for your child to explore their creativity

  • A sample of their fresh baking to take home

  • A take-home binder with recipes, tips and the techniques they learn during the course

Do I have to book for the whole term, nine (9) sessions, or can my child come every second week?
This after-school workshop is designed to follow on from the week before, building on skills they have learnt from the previous session, so no fortnightly attendance is not an option in this case

Does the full term need to be paid upfront, or do you have payment options?
No payment is required at time of registration however; you must complete the checkout to confirm your registration. Once minimum class numbers are reached, we will email you an invoice for payment. Please note that Afterpay is available as a payment option to help make these classes more accessible.

What is the minimum number of attendees required for a workshop to proceed?
A significant amount of work and preparation is required for these workshops to be run, so a minimum of eight (8) attendees is needed for the workshop to proceed

What happens if my child can’t make it to a workshop session
Due to our limited class sizes, we are unable to offer refunds or credits if your child cannot attend a session
